size of animated signature on the forum

Hi everyone. I have a question. I've seen some animated signatures on the forum, so I thought of making one myself. But pretty soon, in order to achieve the same effect as an animated signature, like say, Talisa's sig f.e., I'm at 1.3 mb....How do pple manage to have animated signatures within the 195.3 kb size limit?

From what I understand they usually aren't under the 195.3 size limit, BUT they are allowed to be over the size limit if they are hosted at a site like PhotoBucket rather than uploaded from your computer directly to Aarinfantasy.
