Glad that I can help.
Hi, I am having the same problem that RanMustang had. I have a notification of 1 unread visitor message, but I have gone through all my messages and there are no new messages.
Here is a screenshot of the UserCP, where it indicates that I have an unread visitor message. However, it shows no new VMs, just my subscribed thread:

Thanks in advance for your help. ^^
Issue solved.
For those members who encounter this issue in the future,
1) please delete a message (anyone will do) from your VM
2) after deletion, please undelete that message from your VM
that will help resolve the notification issue.
Please post here if it is not resolve after the above procedure and I will try my best to solve the issue >_<.
I have a similar problem with my Social Group Joins Request. Which I think you're aware of. Any ideas? :P
I remembered >_< and I informed the Admin about it but I guessed they don't have any idea how to solve it.
We may have to wait until Dai-kun return to solve this.
Are you still receiving the notification now?

This is a bug that even I got it last year... but it mysteriously went away by itself one day. I have no idea how exactly it's triggered and no idea how it can be cleared.
It can happen to any of the Notification item... so just bear with it at the moment >.<;;
Sorry.
I had this problem before too...a VM got stuck...
you can just post a VM yourself on your own profile and then soft delete it yourself ...It will go way

Kadaj_chan - we already solved the stuck VM notification issue.
Gabriel31's issue is a stuck social group notification >_<.
Maybe the same thing will work with the social groups as with the VMs? Leave a group and then rejoin it?
I dunno. Just a thought. *shrug*
Such a weird glitch, though. o_O Reminds me of Facebook where the notifications sometimes get stuck due to lag and server overload. Might be the same idea but to a more semi-permanent extent.
