Logging On x 1000

For some reason lately whenever I log on to this forum, my browser just refreshes the page and doesn't log me on.

It's never happened before. And I can try over and over, and still not get logged in.

This problem only started about a week ago and nothing else has changed on my PC - I'm using the same browser as I always do, too.

Any clues? Anyone else with same problem?

no problems here, what browser are you using and what version of this browser?

I use Google Chrome, but it happens on my firefox as well. I'm not sure what versions I have - will check when I get home.

It also only happens sometimes, not EVERY time, but it's getting more frequent so I dunno what I'm doing wrong!

(Interestingly, I got a PM saying you'd sent a reply but it said 'Hello KarumA', not 'hello WantSome'. Second time something like that happened - maybe worth another bug report...)

Oo, I remember this happening to me before.
But I cant remember what I did.

This is a wild guess.
Maybe you have to delete the Cache.
You'll find it in the top tab > Tools > Clear Recent History

Or you didnt checkmark the box before logging on.

Did you try clearing cookies/browsing history?

Some forums used to do that for me on my old computer, and when I clear the cookies/history I can log on just fine.

It took me a while to figure out if the suggestions had worked, because it doesn't happen every time I log on. Clearing the cache as Erotic Devil suggested seems to have done the trick. I'll clear it more often from now on...
