Sig Size

My sig is 500 x 200 but sometimes it shows as 400 x 160 and when I click on properties in Image Dimensions it says: 500px × 200px (scaled to 400px × 160px).

I can see it normal ATM. Maybe you should ask an admin about that. Probably some resizing settings are applyed.

This happens to me actually.

When I'm previewing my signature or previewing a thread or post that I'm about to... post ('preview changes' or 'go advanced'), the signature (500x175) is scaled down to 400x140. But when the thread is posted my sig goes back to 500x175. This applies to Wide and regular screen versions. Also, when I compare the sigs by linking to photobucket versus uploading to aarin, the uploaded version is not scaled.

Sigs are showing up properly. We can only identify the problem if we can actually "see" the problem. There's no link or some sort of directions on how you came up to see it being scaled down. If Your sig is NOT in the signature, of course it WILL be scaled down. As for it being scaled down in preview, that shouldn't be a problem.

Do you have a thread or post where it shows your signature being scaled?

-edit. OK I turned off the external signature (photobucket, imageshack, etc) resize since it would help us identify large signatures. If it gets resized, it will be hard for us to notice if a signature is too big.

In the future, we probably will turn off external signature images and only have uploading to the forum option so the rules are enforced every time.
