Removal of Junjou Romantica

Dear forum members, we have been contacted by authorities to remove most of every downloadable things from this site regarding Junjou Romantica (**please refer below). Please understand that this has to be done immediately (effective from now). This include anime, manga and soundtracks in all sections. No download links are allowed to be shown or shared in the site and forum. So the video streaming and all download section threads will be closed and marked as Forbidden or Removed.

However, showing of images and discussion topics can still be continued.

I'm sorry but we will have to be strict on this: Anyone who shares or 'accidentally' shares download link beginning from today will have their download link removed and warning will be given. For those who have servers that has the files (AarinFantasy fansubs), please remove them today.

Just wondering, is it because it's been licensed somewhere? or did they ask you guys to remove it due to something else?

It's only particularly Junjou Romantica.
We got an email to remove the following (I will quote it below):

URL(s) of Infringed Works or Right

Please take appropriate action to disable access to the infringing

materials described below, in accordance with the provisions of

the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 and the Berne Convention.

Thanks for replying. Those kind of copyright claims suck but at least it was only one series.

Little tip: there's more than one way to solve digital millennium copyright claims, and I'm not talking about hiring a lawyer.

What about Drama cd? Should they be removed as well?

@Wilhelmina4 ; Well, drama CD isn't listed but may be removed too. So far we are concentrating on anime and manga as our top priority.

@Gadriel ; OMG! I forgot about that! The OVA >.<;;; But maybe I will get a translation script done or something if a translator is available... like a soft sub perhaps, since that is perfectly fine.
