Hi, i don't know if this has already been addressed before but can someone help me on this.... I started downloading from bit torrent only recently and i'm wondering if there is a way to extract a file to be downloaded. Say, a BT contains five files/episodes and you only need one file, how can you download that file as itself? 8-[ . Thanks in advance.
Hi there lypzlyn. Yes there is a way, but how to go about doing so depends on the client that you are using. However, for most popular clients, such as µTorrent, Azureus, Bitcomet, and BitTornado, if you select the Files tab/pane/view, and then right-click on the individual files, there is usually an option for not downloading that particular file.
I personally use µTorrent because it has all the features of Azureus with the speed of BitComet and because it does not require installation.

Thanks for the help. The one i'm using is an experimental copy so i don't think it has that feature. Anyway, I got a copy of µTorrent and it worked perfectly for me. :)
