Proxy Server
I am having troubles with my net recently because of this "Cannot access the proxy server" error. I have found solutions on the net: Control Panel - Internet options - Connections tab - LAN settings - un-tick the "Use a proxy server..."
But it's not permanent. I always have to un-tick and un-tick and un-tick it everytime I go online and it's troublesome, especially when I'm uploading; the process freezes and it's hard.
Also this one option: Go on safe mode - regedit - therearelotsoffolderstoopenbeforetheInternet Options - delete "Proxy Enable" and "Proxy-whateverIforgot"
The same thing, it wasn't permanent. Is there any way to get rid of this error? Permanently?

Have you tried doing a virus/malware check lately for bad files?
If you don't normally use a proxy for your internet, then it might be a malware that's trying to hijack your internets/browsing habits. Even if you disable the proxy, it will constantly re-set it to make sure it's working.

@Kojichan; Yes, it was a malware, something that ANY anti-virus didn't detect. I did a cleaning while onsafe mode and it worked. Thanks for replying though.
