Scanner Questions

I've bought two Ao No Exorcist doujins off ebay. This is the first time I've ever scanned one and, I have a few questions. First, do they come in different forms such as, books or magazines. Second, my printer is an HP Officejet 4500 desktop (picture of it is attached). I wanted to get a perfect scan. So, I was wondering if I could use the scanner on my printer or if anybody would recommend any better ones.

i'm not sure what your first question means...

but for the second question, pretty much any scanner will work, but its near impossible to get the "perfect" scan, most scans are cleaned or dusted prior to being shared.

generally the original image is scanned around 300 dpi, and then edited to a smaller size and cleaned, rotated, or cropped as need to look better

HP scanners are pretty good. You have a nice AIO. Just be careful to not ruin your books.
