    How to convert mkv into avi?

    Hope someone can help!

    I'm looking for a program that will convert mkv into avi files. I have no trouble watching mkv on my computer but I need avi format to put them onto my portable player.
    It seems like almost everything is released in mkv these days!

    As for me, I'll use AVIMuxGUI, u can open mkv files and save as an avi file for ur output
    Simple and fast conversion
