Computer hates me and won't let me download

I USED to be able to download videos.
Oh, it was a happy time back then *sigh*. But then something happened, and i don't even know WHAT! Just one day, BAM! I go to Megaupload, type in code thingy, wait 40 seconds, tell it to open file and SHAZAM! It goes to some other page (you know the one. Where it tells you to refresh and stuff like that). But the weird thing is, i can still download manga, off of any of the host links. But when it comes to videos, host links and direct download always throw me over to that page.

So i was wondering if someone would be nice enough to spare some time to help me out. Why does my computer hate me? (hug)

don't use internet explorer use firefox and tell me what happens?

Have you tryed to download from other host servers (like sendspace, mediafire,...)?
Have you got a firewall?

If you are not a Member of Megaupload maybe you reached the Downloadlimit and you have to wait since your Limit counters again from none. I think its these fact cause Mangas arent about these much Traffic you have to use at Megaupload. But thats just an Idea - even its better to use File -> "Save as" not "Open".

Well, for some time now, I can't download video from Megaupload anymore either. I type in the code, wait 45 seconds, then start the dl, but it finishes after 1 second, telling me I downloaded while indeed I didn't. If I use IE, it works, which is a pain because I don't like IE. I thought it might be because of my Adblock add-on I have installed in my FF, I wonder if it is the same problem.

Well, er...i don't know how to use firefox (because i am a loser and only use internet explorer...and it's been so good to me untill now)

and yes i tried many different types of servers, but all of them get mad at me...but i do have a firewall (maybe that's it?)

and true, i should just do 'save as', but as soon as i do save it and then try to watch it, my computer gets all pissy and says i can't watch it because i don't have the right program or something stupid. I'll try it again though.

Hello. Try to close/disenable your firewall

@Lent: I doubt Adblock is your problem (Adblock Plus has never given me any), but you can always pull up Tools > Extensions and click the button to disable it temporarily, and see if things work after restarting your browser.
