Actually you can still use winrar even when the 40 days trial limit has passed. All you have to do is right click on the .rar file and choose one of the winrar icons that appears (there are actually 3 icons you can choose from when you right click on a .rar file), and you won't even see the 40 days trial pop-up.

There is another program called Extractnow which while unzip all files and unzip only.

There are dozens of programs that support rar file extraction--QuickZip and FilZip come to mind.

Welcome to the the forum.

I am using Windows and I do not have any problem with .rar documents.

You should use a software like winzip or 7 zip to unzip the .rar documents first before viewing the documents in the respective windows program.

Winrar Freeware downloads

I used this for ages until I'm able to buy an original. I'm pretty much a big fan of winrar application.

Although it said the free trails expired in 40 days, it will remain that number forever. This is a winrar application, not original. So far, I have no problem using this and it's virus free. I have used it for 5 years already.

I'm just sharing this to those who doesn't has the money yet to buy the original winrar application. Once you started working or you're afford to buy it, please support the original.

you might like to try Rarzilla - Unrar with RarZilla Free Unrar 3.30, Download for Windows (Freeware, Tool) - it's good when winrar can't unzip files sometimes because filenames are in chinese or japanese - not much problem with winrar - you can use it waaaay beyond the trial - just click cancel or something when it asks you to renew - but it's good to buy . 7zip for so many more format decompressing.
