    Firefox No Script:

    Comment:
This Add-ons is one of the best, at least fore me it is. Why? Because it blocks dangerous scripts and scripts you don’t know. It also blocks scripts like spam or annoying net publicity. At first it will be a bit annoying because many scripts will be blocked and you have to give it permission to activate it. but after you done it to your regular sites where you come you will see this add-on is very handy to have.

    Ad block plus:

Ever been annoyed by all those ads and banners on the internet that often take longer to download than everything else on the page? Install Adblock Plus now and get rid of them.

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

    Comment:
This one speaks fore itself, I really hate those pop ups and on site you don’t know they can be dangerous since some pop ups carry viruses.

    Fun and Handy Add-ons:

    DownThemAll!:

DownThemAll is all you can desire from a download manager: it features an advanced accelerator that increases speed up to 400% and it allows you to pause and resume downloads at any time

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/201

    Comment:

Fore me this tool is like heaven, it speak fore itself what it does ^^

    Fasterfox:

Fasterfox allows you to tweak many network and rendering settings such as simultaneous connections, pipelining, cache, DNS cache, and initial paint delay.

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1269

    Comment:
I use this mostly to get a better page loading, and I can see when pages are temporary not working because of an overload on hits in the server etc.

    Colorful Tabs:

The most beautiful yet the simplest add-on that makes a strong colorful appeal. Colors every tab in a different color and makes them easy to distinguish while beautifying the overall appearance of the interface. An essential...

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1368

    Comment:
Sometimes I just go crazy because i got so many pages on in my browser that it’s hard too see which it which anymore, which this tool it helps to get things separated on a easy way.

    Forecastfox:

Get international weather forecasts from AccuWeather.com, and display it in any toolbar or statusbar with this highly customizable and unobtrusive extension.

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/398

    Comment:
Because I work outside a lot and I don’t always watch the news I have this handy tool in my firefox browser. I can see what the weather will be at the moment or what the weather will be the next day.

    Firefox Theme’s:

Themes are like new clothes for your Firefox. A theme can change only a few colors, or every piece of Firefox's appearance. It's another great way to personalize Firefox to your tastes.

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:2

    Comment:

If your bored with your standard firefox let’s pimp it then.

Don't know if it allowed, but I thought I would contribute :

    Unplug :

UnPlug is an extension which lets you save video and audio which is embedded on a webpage - it's a video download tool.

    Unplug

This one might come in handy when you suddently find this uncut version of Sensitive Pornograph on a random streaming-vids website ^^ It allows you to download said video, though you'll need VLC Media Player to play the ".flv" files.

Once installed, click on the green fish at the right-hand top corner of the screen

    Megaupload SX.3.2

Free slots from Megaupload for other countries else United States...

    Megaupload SX 3.2

Pretty self-explanatory I think ^^ Thanks to this little add-on, you will never get that annoying "free slots are full" message from MU ever again. Just go to Tools and Megaupload 3 to enable it.

    Notice:
Fasterfox is a little bugged and, with some people (my case), can slow down your browsing even making online videos to glitch.

    Video Download Helper:
It's another very useful add-on to download videos embedded in webpages. For example you can download videos from you-tube. The add-on download videos with .flv extension. You can play them with "Riva flv player" that you can find HERE. Setup install togheter with the player the encoder, that allow you to convert .flv in other formats.

    Enjoy

Here are some of the helpful Firefox add-on's that I've been using...

    IE Tab
This add-on allows you launch IE tabs within Firefox as needed. We've all been to a web-page that is only designed for IE, or won't load correctly in Firefox. This is the solution. It has a filter that you can add sites too that you visit often, so automatically it'll load in an IE tab when you browse too it.

    GSpace

This add-on allows you to access your GMail account as if it were remote file storage. It has a nice little GUI that lets you drag-and-drop files to your GMail storage space (currently 6.3GB and counting).

    GMail Manager

Simple browser-based GMail utility that logs in and checks your email while you're browsing, and lets you see new mail as it arrives and easily switch between accounts. It runs in the status bar at the bottom of the browser.

    Flashblock

Do you ever hate when you visit a website with tons of flash videos and they all start playing at the same time? Flashblock fixes all of that. It stops all Flash from loading until you're ready, and click "Play". It can be customized to allow flash from certain sites, and none from others.

    Download Statusbar

Makes downloading pretty, plus allows you to close the browser window and continue the download.

    FireFTP

For every dork who still uses FTP. This is simple, resource-easy, and works well. Requires basic knowledge of FTP.

    ----------

Well, there you go... that's what I like to use with my Firefox. Hope they come in handy for someone out there. These have all been reliable for me, and have not caused any problems. Good luck and stick with Mozilla/Firefox!

    Hitsugaya (L10)Rukia (L10)Ulquiorra (L8)

    Fetch Text URL

Have you ever seen a URL link but it was not formatted properly? So instead of hovering over it and clicking it to go to it's destination, you have to highlight and copy & paste it in URL bar or create a new tab and paste the url link etc.

    i.e.
    Code:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/518
With this addon, it makes it easier so that when you highlight it, you can right click and go to the website in a new tab, current tab or new window.

    ---------------------------------

    Dictionary Lookup

I like to read journal papers, articles etc and sometimes you'll come across words you do not know the meaning. This addon will define the highlighted word after you right click it.

As the subject here is firefox add-ons, I wonder if someone could tell me how to disable a window that pops up when you open your brower and it tells you something like 'trying to access a non-local URL'.

It started to appear after my last update and it is pretty annoying! >_<

Have you tried disabling one add-on at a time to determine which one causes it? So go to Tools > Add-ons , then disable one add-on and then restart firefox until the pop problem stops.

I've tried that already but it doesn't work. The only think I still have is the MU Toolbar. It's weird cause nobody else seems to have seen this window.

Well, anyway, thanks for your suggestion. ^^
