MegaUpload Toolbar. Any problems?

Ok, I've downloaded and installed the toolbar and so far, it's as promised.

So, I was wondering, if anyone experienced any problems with the toolbar? Like trojans/spyware/adware/malware.....com lagging... and so on.

Actually, I've some problems surfing with IE now, like I cant get some pages to load for the first time (refresh then ok). but other than that, it's fine. Can't bear to uninstall it because of that scary uploading speed. and since there aren't any major problems. (I use firefox to surf)

I did a search for similar threads in the forum but couldn't find any that gave examples of problems faced with the toolbar.

I've downloaded and installed too...but I can only have one slot for day...I use IE...but I think is better in firefox...if what voodooxdoll says is true...I will definitly change...^-^

I use IE when it comes to megaupload too! Haha. Firefox's for my other daily activites.

I've had a lot of issues with IE shutting itself down when the toolbar starts, and I rather find it to be a pain since it auto-downloads things in place of my IDM, which I much prefer to use. The speed gain in my case of uploading is negligible, and by and large, I find this toolbar to be rather more trouble than it's worth. On a side note, I've had a lot more spyware found in my daily scans since installing this toolbar, and whenever it's running, my firewall barks at me about intrusion attempts ...

May I know what anti-apyware software you use?

I've scanned it for viruses and spywares, but got nothing out of it. (Lousy anti-spyware....-_-)

personally i would never install any sort of toolbar for ie...
and the most widely used anti spyware programs are lavasoft's ad-aware and spybot search and destroy
on another forum that i frequent, soompi, some of the users have reported that since they installed the megaupload toolbar, they have been plagued with a lot of spyware and browsing laggage... when they have not had such a problem of that sort prior to the installation...
i don't know how much of a boost the toolbar gives when uploading... but even without such a toolbar i upload at a decent speed of 45-60kb/s on MU

i have all the problems people mention plus the links seem not to work.. going to uninstall it.
