Problem about Mediafire?

I want to download games that are upload on Mediafiles, but then I go to the hostlinks, this message is always showed off.




What does that mean....??? It happen for 2 days....

I understand that mediafire has blocked access for several countries or smth...I can't access Mediafire anymore (about a month now I think)...I guess you should requesta re=upload of the game on another host link... a lot of people are starting to complain about mediafire lately

Same here since the 2nd of Jan, i can only access the site from work since we're using proxies there and i seem to be from France not Hungary.

St_Migael, those files were deleted, someone probably reported the links/files to Mediafire

I don't understand why it delete the files, this problem happen with all Mediafile links(games), that refer to those games are deleted!? *sniff*...

I think its bcoz of the copyrighted contents of it. some of the manga links still work but all the anime links have been removed. They prob manage to detect them

Oftentimes, they will check large files more closely. Try rar-ing everything up and renaming it to something generic...change the extension...etc. If access from your country is blocked, you might try using an anonymizer to get around it, though I haven't tested this myself.

I tried the anomymizer but it's a bit of a handful and it doesnt work everytime...it's best that you just avoid mediafire...the other hostlinks are not so particular and I've never had these kind of problems anywhere else

Well, Mediafire has given me the best upload speeds bar none (I think most servers have a cap, because my university connection uploads much faster than 200 kB/s) and is more permanent than say, Sendspace or Megaupload. A lot of servers are instituting limits (just look at how far downhill YSI has gone), so in the end, we always have to keep searching for better places to host files...

Really? I had no idea about Mediafire, now I feel badly for using it so much... but it's such a great site otherwise, because files (as of yet) have no expiry date. This information really makes me have to think which is the best site for uploading agian.
