I have trouble downloading a game..?

So I've been trying to download Enzai from the rapidshare host links at this thread:

I've only downloaded the first two parts, but I don't know what they are. my computer doesn't recognize them, and says they're unknown applications. I tried something (can't remember what) and I think I extracted the first part, and got three rar files and ones BGM.ARC file out of it. The rar files I assume are the system files. and I can't open that BGM.ARC file.

I don't think I'm doing it right at all though..can anyone help? Is there anything else I need to download? Also, since it's in Japanese, is there also some translation thing that I have to download as well? In advance, thank you so much for helping me.

P.S. I think I asked this in another thread by accident, but I can't seem to take that down, so I apologize to the moderators if it's considered spam...

Yes I did. I basically set up and installed everything, but when I try to run it, there's no image or anything. It PLAYS - there's the music for the opening - but I can't see anything. And when I go to task manager, it says the game is "Not Responding" or something. I'm not really sure what's wrong...

What OS are you running? Try to enable the windows XP compatibility mode (right click on the game .exe, properties, compatibility the set winXP

When I checked the compatibility, it didn't have one for WinXp. There were only ones for Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000. Should I choose the latest version then?


Nvm, I don't think that's the problem. But one thing I noticed was the game had no image files (.ISO, .CUE, .BIN, etc.) Could that be a problem?

That might just be the problem that it isn't for XP and too old. Another thing you could try is right click and I think it was in properties>> comparability tab and then change it

Did you do all other things as well, such as the language settings change you need to do in order to play Japanese/Asian games

That because Win XP is probably your OS, so there shouldn't be compatibility problems. Try to run is as an Administrator (right click, run as administrator).

did you use daemon tool in the first place?;p
most games require it to set up,
try reading up on daemon tools and use it to install the game, that might help ;p
