Can't open Akaya Akashiya Ayakashi no [Windows 8]

I have this error window pop up whenever I try to open the application Attachment 167272 .

It works ok in my main laptop (Windows 7) but now that laptop broke down I transfer the game data into the laptop with Windows 8.

I've changed system locale (Control Panel > Region > Administrative > Change system locale to Japanese), restart but nothing works.

If this kind of problem have been solved could you redirect it to me?

Hmm, that error says that it cannot open that file.

Is there really a question mark "?" in that folder name?
C:\Users\ACER?\Desktop\Akaya Akashiya Ayakashi no\

Try moving the game to a different folder, someplace like ... C:\Games\Akaya Akashiya Ayakashi no\ and trying the file again. (Somewhere NOT in the C:\Users\ and C:\Program Files (x86)\ folders.)

When you "Moved" it, did you actually re-install the game, or just backup all the files and moved that to the new computer?

It's possible that it might actually just need to be re-installed properly. But you can move your save data back in afterwards.
