How do I actually download The Ganes?

So I try to find games to download but then when I click on one of the forums I just get a lot of pictures.
I want to play a game but, I can't seem to download it ever.

Are there specific things I need to play a game?
Are there specific types of games out there?
Can someone make some type of list that can explain the way downloading games work?
Or something about how this forum works? Cause, I think there is some lingo I don't understand.

And I'm so sorry if I am posting this in the wrong spot,

Maybe you are downloading the CG packs? Those are the images from the games. If you want to download a game you will have to go to the Host Links section, click on a group of letters and then search for the game you want to download. Once you enter the thread of the game you want to download click on the host links and make sure to download all the files for the game.

Try reading the BL Game FAQ I gave you, it covers mostly anything you need to know. You can also check this Commonly Asked Questions thread. You will need your computer to have the Japanese language installed, if not you can expect gibberish appearing on the game. And the games are mostly dating sims, like light novels.

I'm not good with FAQ readings. They never seem to have the exact answer and normally make me ask a bunch more questions.

If you state which game you want to download and play, it will be easier to tell you what you need to do...

HI, I actually just discovered Messiah and am thinking about finding a host link. Never done it before...how safe is this? DO you happen to know of any that work?
