Application Formatting Error

I have recently downloaded a .rar file, and have extracted all the files with winrar. I have installed the game previously, but now every time I open the .exe file I get an error saying "Application formatting error." Is there any way around this error?

Never mind my previous post. I thought by some remote chance it might work if I reinstalled, and it did.
