.rar files and subtitles
Hello.... I hope this is the right place to post.
But... I tried downloading a movie and it was in .rar, so I can't open it. A lot of files are like this. How do you open a .rar file?
Also, why are subtitles seperate from the movies, and how can you put them together?
Thanks!

use winrar or 7-zip;p
1. dl Winrar
2. install winrar
3. right click rar file and choose Extract here

For subtitles I use VideoLAN - VLC media player - Open Source Multimedia Framework and Player, open the video you unzipped and in one of the menus you can choose subtitle => open => choose the srt file.

If you have proper codecs and you name the .srt the same way you do the movie file then some media players load the subtitles automatically (I do this when burning them so that my DVD player that plays data DVD's loads the subs also)
example: bunnies-alive.avi and bunnies-alive.srt
