in windows vista home edition,
trying to install the game by mounting it in daemon tools... but at the end of voice.arc (i think its what should be the end of disk 1) it it gives a strange error message that i cant replicate because it just looks like a bunch of random odd characters. the best i can do is

the last character is a cent sign.
what the heck is going on...
i have fixed this problem by mounting the virtual drives for both disks, taking all the files out of the virtual drives and putting them in one folder, and then editing the setup file, erasing the DISCNO=1 and discNO=2, and renumbering all pertinent files.
this seemed way harder than it should have been.... does everyone have to do this? it seems like theres a lot of steps to installing that are very hard to figure out!
i speculate that games could be shared in regular folders instead of the drive image files if this were done to them
