    [Solved] Video problems

Hi everyone, I wanted to watch Slayers Revolution episode 13 by VivaLaRevolution subs but the video has a little problem. I don't know if it's my players or the video but it's really messy. The video is interrupted non-stop, as if it's read only some images on all of them. The sound continues as it should, but the video is a little behind and the image stops every second or so. It's really hard to follow it like that.

I wanted to know if someone else who watched it had the same problem or if it can be resolved...

I tried opening it with Zoom Player and Media Player Classic, both has the same problem.

I noticed that the video was hardsubbed for episode 13... Maybe they did it wrongly? But they don't seem to release a v2...

    Thanks!

Hello, you should try to open it with VLC Videolan.
Also try to reboot your pc. Sometimes vids stops like that when pc is slow and/or overworking.

I had no problems playing [VivaLaRevolution] Slayers Revolution - 13 (Xvid) [72A183CF].avi on my machine (I need to make sure we're using the same file, since I probably got mine from a different source), but I was using completely different software from you. If VLC doesn't work out, I'd suggest making sure your file isn't corrupt--it should be 287826938 bytes in size if it's the same file as mine (you could also verify the checksum if you have the right software).

I did notice one unusual thing about the file, and that's that it claims that the video is 119.881fps--five times what I think the real framerate is. mplayer was apparently bright enough to identify this as bogus, but your software may not have figured it out, and if it was trying to play the video back at five times the proper speed, that might have caused the problems you were seeing (which sound an awful lot like the kind of framedrop you would see from an underpowered computer trying to play back a video it wasn't capable of decoding in realtime). If you can find an option in your software to force it to treat the video as having 23.976fps, that might help.
