Nirto+Chiral games steam ver, 18+ patch crash

Hello, i bought the steam versions of Sweet Pool and Togainu No Chi during the last steam sale but hadnt had time to play them till recently. I started playing Sweet Pool, but after about one or two routes my game suddenly crashes. I use an macbook air with bootcamp and download my games onto my external hard drive. ive already tried to wipe bootcamp and my external hard drive then reinstall everything but the same results occurred. Any help is appreciated :)

Is there a specific point in the game where it crashes? Can you reproduce the crash every time?
Have you played the game fine without the patch? Maybe you can re-install the game and try to play through it without the patch to see if the crash has anything to do with the patch itself or with some other technical issue.
Also, by route, do you mean like you've played through an entire story to the end credits? Could it be a save file issue?

Since you bought the patch and Steam game, you could also send a ticket to Jast USA, which Jast Blue is part of.

I think you should bother Steam and JAST BLUE about it...
