Help pulling text from a game for translation

Hello! I'm interested in starting a fanTL of https://vndb.org/v3531, but I had trouble getting the script from a game into a document for translation. The game runs on systemNNN, so I was trying to use VNTranslationTools (linked below), but to no avail. I worry that because the game is older (albeit a rerelease for newer OS), the program may need some fiddling with, or another method may be necessary. I would be really grateful for any help from a more tech savvy person!

I found some alternative tools that might help you with your fanTL project. One of them is Auto Translation for RenPy Games (AutoTrans), which is a tool that can translate RenPy games in real time using Google Translate.

I don't have the game yet, but I like the VTM world and have been looking into this game; it seems to be fascinating, and if it were feasible, I may consider producing a free fan translation.

I really ought to have updated to a more recent version. I discovered several substitute tools for RenPy Games' Auto Translation that could be useful for your fan translation effort. I've come up with an answer that satisfied my needs. Because I have Windows 10, the "win10" patches that I was first utilizing did not function. The other fixes that are available do function.
