Ahhhh...... It seems like I can't get the game to work. I'm using a cracked version of windows 7 because of the fact my laptop got hit with a very big virus on my windows 8.1. So, I can't upgrade unless I had the code for it. Unless, I can find a code that I can use, I'm basically never going to play the game on the P.C. I have right now.

Gosh, I'm sorry! o.o Well, you can try reinstalling a fresh copy of Windows 8. I'm sure you can find the ISO, and as long as your computer has the serial code for it on the case, you can reinstall it. It might work better, then you can update to Windows 10 if you like.

Anyway, is this the link for DirectX 9.0c? The installer name is "Direct X 9.0c End User Runtime"

If you cannot access the 2nd download link, I can provide you with the dxwebsetup.exe that I have downloaded from the website. I think people do have problems accessing it as they are always redirected to Downloading Windows 10.

Hey guys, I have a problem too. I installed the game all right, it starts, the English patch seems to be working as well. It only goes wrong when trying to save. Right after saving everything just stops working, I can't leave the saving screen and I can't quit the game, I have to restart the entire computer. After that, the saved data is there all right, but again, nothing works after loading. There's also some kind of an error message in Japanese. Can somebody tell me what I did wrong? :o

Not OP but thank you so much! I'm running windows 7 x64 and followed all of the instructions to the dot. Japanese locale and region. Daemon tools lite. Installing the direct X provided with the installer, and steps 1/2/3 of the english patch folder - and no dice.

What fixed it was the shortcut you uploaded on MEGA.

im having the same problem feradraco had with the game. game plays fine but as soon as i save it, it completely freezes which makes me have to do a complete system reboot. and i cant load the save that i did because the same problem occurs. anyone have any idea how to stop that happening?
