Laughter Land "[1503] Please insert an original disc!" Error

Hi,

Recently I downloaded Laughter Land and mounted it on Daemon Tools. The game installed okay but when I clicked start it would simply say "Laughter Land has stopped working."

I moved some things around, put into a different compatability mode, and installed the LaughterLand101 patch and now a different error has popped up saying "[1503] Insert an original disc!"

Has anybody else had this problem and/or knows how to fix it?

What OS are you using? Is this game coming with a crack? If yes have you applyed it?

I have a Vista computer. What do you mean by a crack? It had a patch that the company put out to help stop crashing. There was also a no cd patch which I downloaded. It was an .iso file. I put that into the Laughter Land file.

Try to run it under XP compatibility.

If the game it's not original there's probably a crack (an exe file or whatever that will replace some original files) inside the archive. You need it to run the game.

If you tryed the suggestions above and didn't work you should. Maybe from another source...

I'm sorry it took me such a long to get back to you. I've been messing around with my BL games again and I finally got Laughter Land to work. I think I found the crack you mentioned. I'd never used one before and so I think that was part of why it took me so long.

I'm wondering if I have to find a crack, uninstall the game then re-install it differently.
Also, how to you apply the patch to the game (I have both an .exe file and an .iso file of the patch)

You need to apply the "no CD patch" which can be found in the extracted files from Disc 1. It's a rar file, so you need to extract it using 7-zip, and then copy-paste the application extracted from the rar file into your Laughter Land game folder and run the patch. When you do, a window will pop up. Click on the Laughter Land exe file and then ok. It should work fine now
