Aka-Shiro is a Canadian artist who excels at the style of anime. Her lineart is beautiful and flawless. She seems to favor using pens as her medium but also works with digital programs like Photoshop CS6.

She is open to making BL/Yaoi artwork as well as Hetero and Yuri. She captures the moods just perfectly no matter who/what she is drawing. I love her style of coloring as it gives off a soft feel with her lighting techniques. The way she uses a pen though astounds me with her details and patience. She draws females characters a lot more but I love her male characters. She has a tenancy to show a more emotional side to her characters which is a nice touch, whether it is passion or something much deeper and crazier.
