You make a new thread, give it a title and write what that poll is about and any comments you may have. In the Additional Options section you will be asked the following:Quote:

Check the box, then type in the number of answers you're going to put for the question being asked for you poll. For example:
Poll Question: What is you favorite color?
[ ] Red
[ ] Blue
[ ] Yellow

The example poll I used has 4 options, so I'd type in 4 in the Create a poll with this number of options box.
Your thread will be posted, and you will be taken to the next step, the question for the poll and the answers for voters to pick. You also have options such as to show who voted for what, or multiple voting (to vote for more than one thing). You'll also be asked for how long you'd like the poll to stay open, type in 0 if you want to poll to be open forever.

After you submit your thread for the poll this will appear:
