Signature Rules and specifications

There are some forum members who aren't aware that there are signature rules and some aren't sure what's the allowed size. Here I will show you some examples of them, so it will be clearer:

SIGNATURE RULES

• No 18+ images!
• Signature Pics
  
  • NO MORE THAN 250 x 500 pixels (height x width)
  • 300 kb limit for uploading through aarinfantasy.com. There is no limit for this if you upload it from external host sites.
  • 3 image limit (Which should fit to the main rules together). Precisions: You can have 3 pictures side-by-side of 250 height as long as they do not exceed the maximum 500 width combined and likely you can have 3 pictures under each other with 500 width as long as they do not exceed the maximum height of 250 together.
  • MAX of 3 smilies or 3 small pictures that's within 80pixels (height) x 500 pixels (width) in total (this is not included in the 250 x 500 pixels limit).
    
  • Please do not hotlink the iShop cards in your signature. If it's a wishlist card, write in text about it or text link to your Card Wishlist.
    
  • You are allowed to hotlink or put up cards that is similar to iShop made by yourself or other people, but please keep it mind that this is part of the 3 smilies rule.
  • Do NOT hide oversized pictures under spoiler tags
  • Do NOT post images of genitalia/breasts, real life porn or shota sex.
  • Please do not post a huge empty space in your signature. If that happens, please correct it or a staff member will correct it for you (assuming that's accidental copy and paste error).
  
  
• Total Signature Size must be of reasonable height and width. This includes the text in the signature space, please be reasonable with the number of lines you used for text (we did not set any limit rule for this as most people's signature has no problem with text space issue). A staff member will put your signature in "spoiler" codes if it is too long, so be sure to fix it.

This is the space allowed for Smilies or Small Pictures, limited to 3 pictures within this space, which is 500pixels (width) x 80pixels (height):

Please understand that this rule is to prevent too much loading time and not to make the signature space too big for the convenience of users in this forum. The current decision to not allow linking or putting up similar existing iShop cards in sig space is because there are people claiming or made as if they own those cards without having to buy them from iShop and just displaying them in the Signature. If you want to make a wishlist, please do so in text format in your signature space. Cards lookalike of iShop but is not in the iShop or made by friends or users in this forum are allowed of course... but please keep it within the 3 small pictures limit.

I have a question. Can I combine the original sig size (500x250) with the smilies (500x80) to make my total sig pic seem bigger? For example:

I hope it seems reasonable. I just seem to get greedier and greedier with bigger sig sizes ^^; If it's not doable, then I totally understand

Well for such situation, it will be allowed if it's separated like this with a space in between (to show the difference that it is the sig banner and small picture area):





If it is like the one below, it is not allowed as it gives the illusion that it is one sig eventhough there are 2 files:

Alright, thanks for answering It's too bad we can't make the bigger illusion then, but 500x250 is pretty big already XD

I have a question. I've been wondering about this. If you notice my signature has 5 custom cards that I made myself but it is all one image. Is it breaking the 3 picture rule even if it's all one image?

Is it okay as long as it doesn't break the height and width rule?

Yes this will be fine as long as it is within the 80x500px small pic/smilies space.

EDIT: Just in case anyone was wondering what's the difference between this and the continuation of banner case (making the banner appears bigger)... both also include illusion of some sort but we just wanna make it clear this is something we will give flexibility on - things that appear to have more than 3 small pics but actually in 1 pic as long as it is within the 80x500px space. In the case of making the banner appears bigger, it has to have a space in between the ori banner and the small size pic area.

I have a question. I may just be being silly but, the new limits say we can have our banner and 3 small pictures/cards, right? But every time I try to place a 3rd card in my signature, I get an error message saying I have 4 pictures in my sig and have exceed the AarinFantasy limits. Am I misunderstanding something? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a certain way I have to put pics in my sig so I don't get the error?

No problem, you should mention this if it is a problem.
I think there was a setting issue, can you check again now? It should work.
