Congratulations to the participants this month! Arg, the theme is quite hard for me (it's not like I hate winter or anything) but I went with #4. After reading "winter" that image flashed first in my mind. It sticks to the theme better.

Had to go with #6 - not just Jack (love him!) but the way the snowflakes pop out without a border - that looked like it took some skill. Also had to say that #4 was only a tiny bit behind, the snow flurries were very intense and (pardon the pun) cool.
I really like the mix of softness and clarity in #5, so I voted for that, but I think the use of the snowflake in #6 was pretty clever ^-^
Again a hard choice....voted for #7, bright and cute!!!
I had to go with No.5 - Everything blends really well and it looks so flawless~ SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL
Hesitating between #1, #2, #6 and #7.
#7 has the feeling of comfy that the winter cold brings, with the character, but not much with the background.
#2 and #6 have the background feeling this wintery... but the character could be from any season...
Finally, I found #1 has the right mix with the background and the character that gives this winter feeling of cold and comfy... So... I chose #1
