I voted for a change rather than stopping it completely. Seems like it'd be a waste to stop the contests completely. I was thinking of rather than a monthly thing, why not increase the time limit to 2-3 months? It might lure in more entries. I mean, there are certain months that people might be extremely busy, thus them being unable to join in for that particular month.

I voted for yes cause I really enjoy making sigs and it makes me practice using Photoshop. Plus it's a chance to get free card submission, so I hope it doesn't stop completely.

I voted maybe we need a change. I think it's a great opportunity for a card submission and point prizes for those who participate. I'd like to vote yes, but I don't participate, so it wouldn't be fair. But I sure love looking at all the beautiful entries!

I voted for yes as I love the contest for many reasons and some were mentioned by maple and darkfaith. I haven't participated for a long time but would love to do so again and hopefully some more users. It definitely would be a pity if the contest is cancelled completely. Before that happens I would prefer a solution like BloodLustX suggested with holding the contest every 2-3 months.

I also voted for yes though I admit it's been ages I tried myselt at anything but I always loved to take part when I did! Life just got to be so busy

I voted YES and maybe we do need a change.
At the very moment I can't focus and think of what the change could be (just arrived home after a trip of 10 hours ), but in all honesty I always loved this particular thing at this community, the official contests.
I feel that it makes people be more active, engage and unite in a way, either by creating beautiful things or by voting and pointing out what they liked, but of course as we get older we get busy with real life.

Still I'd totally love to have it monthly.

In my case everything resumes to inspiration and time - like probably many others -, but nonetheless it's a challenge and I would totally love to see at least 3 different members participate monthly.
The prizes are a nice reward, but to actually enter the contest which you know it engages people in being active in any way, is the best feeling, pretty much like a boat that keeps sailing ahead and not stopping.

If it were for a less often contest, maybe the Profile of the month it would be best to be every 3 months, that in general is more work.

My main question is why members don't participate anymore?

P.S. I totally love the quite of the sig! As I was making some sigs recently, I was actually thinking get the opportunity to create a sig for this quote as well

I love these contests and the opportunity to earn points...but maybe it should be a little simpler like a questionnaire instead of writing reviews or making sigs. Or even combine the review/sig and do another like a questionnaire.
