well not strictly speaking singing only as the video category was made for the incorporation of dancing / performing,

but for this competition it would be easier to just limit it to singing and dancing.

Edit: anyways it seems that i won't participate because i can't cut any of the songs for it to be 1:30 minutes long D:

oh sad to hear that, but if it isnt too much over i will still accept it. As long as it isnt like way over like 2 and a half minutes etc.

I would also prefer people not to use auto tune so we really know what you sound like.

The song I have in mind has got quite a long instrumental. I've cut quite some bit off, but it still is slightly more than 1min 30secs (probably abt 10-15 secs more?) Is there any allowance for the limit in such cases?

For the video, can it be a bit music video-ish? And I was thinking of performing it somewhat close to the original music video...
Oh and the song I was thinking about is almost 4 minutes long... I'll see if I can cut it down, but I dunno :/

Okay, if I enter this contest, it will be the -third- time entering AarinIdol. I would very much NOT like to put the effort into competing if this contest just gets flushed down the toilet like the last two times. The very last time there was NO communication whatsoever about what was going on, NO points given out for entering, which was promised, nothing. How is this time going to be any different? Is there a guarantee that those who entered -will- be judged and rewarded?
