well this is essentially a singing competition, as long as the singing is actually the contestant I have no worries, though I would assume forumers would like to see a bit more than just lip syncing from the video entries.

sorry for the late response, yes, what Miko said does apply, because if you read through the thread the video category was made for the purpose of showcasing the entrant, not only their voice.

I personally would prefer if you didnt have to lipsync in your video even if it is your own voice just because it does lead others to believe otherwise.

The only reason I wanted to lipsync in the video was because the quality of the audio isn't as good as if I recorded with a mic, and I wouldn't be able to mix it in with the karaoke track if it's in the video : P Also, I can probably try to make it kind of like a music video... Just an idea XD

It can be either Capella or karaoke^^

both is acceptable, all depends on your personal preference.

And regarding the just anime/game thing, it can be anything. I think that's how it was last time if I recall...

ONe question! Can you be able to replace your song entry with a different song because I found something better I can sing with than the old song

of course just send in the new entry and make it clear that you would like that as your entry instead of the last one. you have until entries close to do so.
