Scanlators Day

This is a thought I've been running through my head for a while now.
As we all know, Aarinfantasy just wouldn't be complete without its fabulous scanners, translators, fansubbers and editors.
And I think they deserve recognition!!
I'm not a scanlator myself, nor do I know any personally, but I do know that without them, I wouldn't be able to enjoy yaoi manga and anime to the max.
Aarinfantasy has alot of power over the yaoi community.
Even the least experienced yaoi fan I know has heard of Aarin
So I propose we have a day dedicated to the good folk who bring us our daily fix, not just on Aarinfantasy but all across the internet!
Spread the word!
I suggest Valentines Day because of the boylove, but any day would be good
It may be a stupid idea, but don't you think they deserve it?

Aw, that's a cute idea! I think we should definitely do that-scanlators bring us many a good BL mangas and het mangas alike so they deserve a holiday

Oh yay, I agree! It's a really awesome idea, actually. xD A tribute to the lovely people who bring us our yaoi. ^_^

The only li'l problem would be making it a day for all the scanlators, and not only Aarin's.

yeah, yeah! and maybe... scanlators are gifted with CANDY! the NAKED BISHIE kind of candy.

Maybe we could get someone to make some things like graphics as rewards for their hard work and as a thank you!.

Plus maybe have a few contests which if people are willing to sponser for the members of the forum, to make it fun for everyone.

Maybe it would be possable to get "ribbions" like you do in some forums, with a thankyou message for the scanlators.

We could maybe do an interview with some scanlators in the shout box, where we can pump them full of, thanks and odd questions!

Maybe make an on-line flyer thing, or one /two page leaftet with art, peoms, done for the scanlators as a thank you, as well as some information from the scanlators themselfs.

A nice big banner of the home page!
