is there a specific place to talk about (web)novels?

Is there a specific category if I want to talk about webnovels, or should I just go for the manga category? Not all of the stories have a man(ga/hua/hwa) adaptation, and more often i'd be talking about the novel and not the manga anyways.

And some of the novels are BL but some aren't, would I need to make a separate post in the yaoi section? is the forum strict about things like that?

The forum is no longer as strict since it's not very active compared to many years ago where there were a lot of threads to keep up with. So if it's not at the right section, I can just move it to the right place without like giving any mod warning and stuff like that.

For your case, the BL webnovel can be mentioned here.
(It's still under the manga category, but no worries)
If they are non-BL ones, you can also mention it in the same thread but have to note it's non-BL so others will know.
I think it's easier that way.
