Discord?

I'm definitely for the idea of a discord if the idea ever comes back on the table. Don't think I'll ever super active on a forum, just cause I don't have the attention span for it, but discord chats are usually so spontaneous that it's easy to jump in and out.

I also think it'd be super fun! Maybe it doesn't need to be an aarin server specifically, but just a place for people who love BL to congregate on discord . maybe we should make a place where those who are interested in hanging out on discord can put their usernames up and we can add each other from there. most of us i feel like would all be from aarinfantasy anyway, and so if people from outside aarin join the discord, they'll most likely come to aarin and join too. so it could go both ways! we can even stream games together other on discord, even the games that twitch bans from being streamed (like dmmd!).

Same! I would definitely be down for a discord server. I always find I am much more active on my discord servers nowadays than anywhere else.

I use Discord and like it, however, I do think that having a Discord server would prompt a mass exodus from the forum. I've been away for a while, so I'm hardly one to talk, but it would make me sad to see this forum become totally inactive. What I really hope we can do is encourage more activity here instead of elsewhere.

I’m active on discord because of a game. Everybody I know, including me are no longer active as we used to back in the days here. I would love to see more activity on aarin.

I find discord is already dated and crappy and mostly just a place that breeds terrible communities. I personally stay away unless it's to communicate with friends.

I will say that Discord is true to its name in that it breeds a LOT of drama. People start fighting and blocking each other and private messaging behind other people's backs, and it just... well, I've seen some bad stuff go down. Communities ruined, friendships destroyed.
