Sidebar Complete Loading Disable

Noticed the announcement on the new sidebar... I'm thankful there's an option to hide it, but what bugs me is that it loads every single time I enter the main forum page. When I refresh the main page, it takes noticeably longer to load.... the forums pop up WITH the sidebar. Then, the sidebar auto-hides.

It would be really nice if there was an option to completely stop the sidebar which some users won't use from loading. It would save bandwidth, decrease loading times and help out those with low-res monitors.

This is actually a bug that has been fixed but showed itself again in newer versions of vB.

I went ahead and temporarily fixed it.
If you want to completely disable the sidebar to prevent it from loading at all, go to edit your settings:

Disable Sidebar on forum home completely?:

• Yes
