Unread Visitor Messages counter problem

I'm not sure if I'm doing it right/if it's the right place to post ><'''
but I have a problem with my notifications... my unread visitor messages counter indicates I have one unread message but there is no new message.. this number 1 is stuck in there for a while.. when I receive one new message, for example, the counter increases to 2, after reading it comes back to 1

I don't know how to get rid of this inexistent message!
Can anyone help me?

Have you already tried clearing your browser's cache?

yeah, I cleared the cache.. I tried another browser (I use chrome and tried in firefox) and another computer (at work) but it didn't work :~~

try checking through all your VM messages, are you sure you've read all of them?;p

christine2000 and Amaterasu, I visited all my VM pages a few minutes ago and nothing changed :~~
On the UCP there is nothing about new VM, it's only on the list...

Hmmm...

Try actually deleting the aarinfantasy.com cookie from your browser. Clear your cache. Then try to log back into the site.

If you're not sure how to do that, just let me know which browser you use.
