"Find latest posts" is not updating - it stuck on jan/26

I use a lot the feature "find latest posts" (in a person's profile) to follow what my friends are posting around the forum. Well, this feature stopped to update in the date of jan/26. This never had happened before, sometimes the feature showed a delay of a couple of hours but it always showed the posts made in the current day.
Can you please verify what's going on? Thank you.

There's a delay with the search engine function in general, it's not showing up the latest results... hmm... I'm not sure if only those within the latest 24 hours though.

Update: yes, the latest posts are stuck on january 26, no updating happened.

Update: now the latest posts are giving this error message: connection to localhost:9312 failed (errno=111, msg=Connection refused)

It should be fixed now. A database upgrade messed it up a bit, for which I needed to recompile and install the search again.

It's currently re-indexing and should be done in 5 mins.
