problem with groups

Cant delete my old groups for some reason

was in the group section trying to delete one of the old groups I created and it wont allow me to access the delete feature.
It still allows me to edit, but what good is the delete button if it doesn't work?
If its not allowed then why not remove the button if its obsolete?
And if so how do I get rid of them? Or who do I need to contact to do that?

The reason why we don't allow users to delete groups is because we had an incident in the past where a member deleted a very popular group and it was not possible to restore it. Just PM a mod or me and they'll take care of it.
As for the button being there, I have to edit a special code for it which I rather not as it will cause more work for future forum updates when I have to go through the code for changes.
