Yakyuu Tengoku Hot

An awesome title
I love baseball and yaoi. So, in my quest to find a story that combined both, I found this, and I'm glad that I did. The drama in some parts is rather beautiful. I find that the effort Uno puts into getting Ogata's attention is remarkable. A major component of the story seems to be Uno doing whatever he can if it means being closer to Ogata. Yes, there are plenty of wishy-washy feelings about, but I think that it's interesting to see what the main characters will do about them.
What I liked best, however, was that the uke had some sense of initiative. I have read many yaoi mangas, and not in a single one had the uke initiated a kiss, romantic moment, or what have you.
I have few complaints about this title. The story line in some parts moves WAY too fast. At one moment, Ogata could be in a house, then the next he could be playing in a game. Secondly, there are sound effects for EVERYTHING - getting up, sitting down, you name it. Oh, and this isn't THAT important, but I would have liked to see a little more baseball being played.
As a side note, this work might be easier to understand if you know baseball terminology, although a lot of the terminology in here is explained.
Still, I don't think that the fact I love baseball and yaoi was the sole reason I truly enjoyed this work. The overall drama is great, as are the characters.
