Well, to tell the truth, the very first time I've watched this I stopped after something like ten minutes because I was unable to follow the plot. It was just like «What the heck is this crap all about?». Then I've tried two years later with the same result. But, afterward, I've read the first chapter of the scanlated manga in English, and then I understood ways more who were the characters and and the reasons behind their behaviors. The art sounds very beautiful to me, the storyline takes place into a fascinating world, sounds like both reality and an invented realm the same time, an effect I always enjoy. Well, to make it short, it was pretty enjoyable, but you have to be patient with this one, multiple watches and help might be necessary to get into it.

By the way, you should not watch it if you expect a lot of humor (there is a few but it is absolutely not a comedy), bishonens, or smut scenes. And even the shounen-ai was kind of slight.

It was a little boring and kind of random. There is not much background explanation for the plot however, you do get some for the main characters. There was not much of a conclusion for their relationship, but they did hold hands once. They also defeated the bad guy. There were some interesting animal attributes of the main characters. Kagetsu is a gold cat and sometimes morphs into one, and his sensei is a fox that stays human throughout the anime.

One of the first yaoi animes i watched when i started liking yaoi. its really weird at first, but the whole story plot is very understandable. And it has its funny side as well and its VERY cute. Kagetsu is a very shy, yet admiring character cause he kinda reminds me of Naurto Uzamaki from 'naruto' with the blond and the red eyes(when he uses the fox;s power'



Either way, this anime is definately worth watching. Impressed me very much and the animation is REALLY sweet. =)

If you like an innocent uke to have a highly protective seme...and is just shounen-ai..then you'll like this anime...there are flashbacks in this to understand the story more,the plot is interesting...just wish there was yaoi action,you'll understand more and more though out this story as you watch.It may have a nice art and good plot,but don't bet on it satisfying your Yaoi craves.
