The young leader of the Ōmi group, Ranmaru, was forced to marry Kaoru, the daughter from another group. The couple went to Italy, and had their wedding on a ship. However, neither of them actually liked the marriage, and Ranmaru was kicked out by his newlywed wife Kaoru on their first night. Al (Alberto), an Italian man on the ship, took an interest in Ranmaru, and the story revolves around the romance between the two men, Ranmaru and Al.

I found this anime to be extremely funny and Beautiful at the same time. Ranmaru brings in the humor, while Al keeps things serious and steamy. It was cute how Ranmaru rejected the idea of loving another man, but Al made him realize that it is possible, and that there is nothing wrong with it. It's sad that it's so short, but in those few episodes, you find something amazing. Ranmaru ends up giving into Al, and ends up falling in love with him. They have their hardships, with Ranmaru being part of the mob. Al proves that his love for Ranmaru is real, when he saves him from the men that drugged and kidnapped him. He went through alot to save Ranmaru and, in turn, made him his. The relationship between the two is beautiful and meaningful, and they prove that nothing will, or can, keep them apart.
This anime has comedy, romance, love and drama. It's one of the best yaoi on the market, and is definately worth watching.
Alright, these OVAs captured me from start to finish. In the first OVA you meet the stubborn Ranmaru (who is voiced by the same person who voices Renji in Bleach and Hiro in Junjou Romantica) and the smooth Italian, Al. The two OVAs are so well done, the characters are drawn beautifully and the plotline will keep you intrigued. The first OVA was smooth and suave, as you learned about each character and where I fell in love with the story. There isn't a lot showing during the intimate scenes but it's enough, compared to the wonderful art of the OVA. I personally just loved Ranmaru's features and the way the whole production came together.
These OVAs can barely be improved upon. There are moments of doubt of them as a couple, and of course times where you will really fan girl out (as I did). I strongly suggest this to anyone who's a romantic, and enjoys a little adventure.
The OVA is really amazing and funny. Ranmaru looks so sexy in his Yutaka and I like the scene when Kaoru (his new wife) forget him and drive away and he has to go home alone ^^ And then the beautiful knight Al appears and he takes Ranmaru with him. At the scene when both of them are caught by condor (a man who is in love with Kaoru and wants to get a good relationship with the omi group....that the reason why ranmaru and Kaoru had to marry)while they kiss each other...the look of condors face is really funny...like his face at the second OVA where he found out that ranmaru will be raped by a man who pay the most...and because he don´t want to destroy the relationship to the omi group, he want to pay the most to save ranmaru. But Al was here too to save Ranmaru and at least they confess their love for each other and fly away (with a helicopter). I love the story and the pairing. Try it out you won´t be dissapointed ^^
Well... for all fans of ayano yamane's manga the prayers and hopes were heard. If you like her style than this anime is a MUST-SEE.

The story is pretty close to the manga but of course shortened a bit to fit into the length of about 25min for each OVA (there are two^^). Like the title reveals the anime tells the story of a foreign love affair.. and it's one hell of an affair. Although the "encounter" between Ranmaru and Al isn't as detailed as in the manga it worth watching...
The artwork is surprisingly well done and you recognize Yamanes-style on the first look. The voices... well... there wouldn't have been better ones to fit the characters. Just a little pre-taste: Ranmaru is voiced by Kentarou Itou, who also speaks Hiroki in Junjou Romantica and Renji in Bleach. Do i have to say more?
All in all it's very lovely and well done. It definitively copes up with the original.
Conlusion: Spicy story with true love, deep emotions and some nosebleed-moments^^
This is an absolutely amazing OVA!
The art is very easy on the eyes and I enjoyed the story line aswell.
It includes a lot of different elements. I loved how the fighting scenes were intense and it was cute seeing the characters get to know each other.
The sex scene is just hot!
I think Ranmaru and Al make a wonderful couple.
