If you're into bishounen then you'll probably like this series.

It's about a priestess who has eight (!) Hachiyō bishounen around her for protection (like a reverse harem or male harem).
The first episode was a good intro and although the story is fantasy it's not too complicated.
No yaoi, maybe some slight Shōnen-ai but what is really interesting though during the first introduction episode all the men come in pairs such as two schoolfriends an emperor and a fluteplayer and two guys who just happen to be in the same street where the priestess appears.
(This is also shown in the intro song, they are being shown in their original pairings)
So as for the pairings it's quite obvious (especially to me the lieutenant and the fluteplayer were).

In one of the earlier episodes there is a wonderfull display of slight Shōnen-ai between Yorihisa and the nue.

The protagonist -being the priestess- is quite an underdeveloped personality and she hasn't got some of those things which you would expect in a centered character such as hers.
She lacks being especially beautiful or wearing outstanding clothes or even jewellery.
Those are all reserved for the boys/men in the series so her role seemed to be designed especially as a coat hanger for the other male characters.

It's a fun and light hearthed though sometimes it dips into the past or personal issues of one of the Hachiyō.
I give it a four out of five stars because the yaoi/Shōnen-ai is VERY subtile.
