Worth watching
Fujimi Orchestra is one of the first yaoi anime that I had ever seen and I thought it was very well done. First of all, I'll admit that I haven't read the manga so for those who have don't hold this review against me. ^_^
I gave this anime a high rating because it was well crafted and had great plot development. Each character served his or her role well. There weren't any lulls in the storyline and definitely none of the WTF moments where you had to wonder what's going on or why certain actions were happening. There was a couple of twists as well as symbolism and excellent use of the orchestra's practice/music in reflecting Yuuki and Kei's tumultuous relationship. There were a few funny moments too. The sex scene was not at all graphic, but seeing Kei use his hands on Yuuki made me melt. The animation is not too bad either, but the quality may be lacking because it's older.
There are those who are tempted or even trained to watch manga based anime and desire it to be completely faithful to the storyline; however, this is one case where putting aside that training would be beneficial. In order to fully enjoy this OVA, it's important to look past the fact that it doesn't solely adhere to the manga and focus on this anime as its own product because it really is a treasure.

Oh my god... You better not watch THIS at all... The manga is great, but the anime is awful. Really. Not just the animation, but the whole thing! the music, the way they put the plot, and all- just horrible.
I'm sorry to say that but I was very disappointed.

Compared to Manga version of ''Fujimi Orchestra'' which is really great manga for my taste, the anime version is truly disappointing.
Besides twisting the storyline almost totally, turning the Yukis hair in to dark brown instead of light, the mood of the anime is really depressing and boring unlike manga who has a humor scenes, and they added some useless filler scenes instead to add the real one. I almost felt that I am looking some anime with English dub!
But I have to admit it that Kei is really prettily drawn... Yess really sexy.
Well truly disappointing, but that doesn't need to stop you to read the Manga version of it, which is one of my fav Mangas.

The plot wasn't great and the art wasn't great neither. The story would jump to one thing to an other and it's hard to get what's going on till you reach the end. And in some parts it was too dramatic. Overall it wasn't funny and it was boring, but for some reason it made you want to see what was going on and in the end gave you a disappointing ending where the plot wasn't solved. Fujimi Orchestra is not a great anime but yet it's nowhere near good.

Well, this anime will confuse you....but if you read the manga, you'll really understand....Kei(uke) is haunted by this big pole falling on him(No,not that dirty type of pole)...his music teacher,Yuuki(seme) falls in love with him...but this time the uke is VERY STUBBORN!!So the Yuuki rapes him,in a loving way..hehehehe...the art is alright, and don't bother to understand the story by watching the anime(You'll just crack your head)...So I suggest you read the manga first, then see some moving yaoi action.
