This anime was one of the first yaoi animes that I had ever seen and I still feel it is one of the best. I love that it has a storyline and plot as well as some very hot sex scenes. It would have been great if they could have taken it even further. It was a refreshing change to see the scene change from Japan to the U.S. and I was happy when Honma went with Mochizuki.
I would have loved to see this anime expanded into a few more episodes. It would have been interesting to see a scene of interaction between Honma's wife and kids and Mochizuki,possibly just as Honma was about to talk Mochizuki into office sex again. Either way, more of these characters would be a good thing. I was inspired by them in a lot of ways; the very first yaoi story I began was a result of the scene between Mochizuki and Honma in the beginning at the computer when Honma leans over Mochizuki and covers his hand on the mouse. As a result of that scene and the inspiration it gave me I have very fond feelings for this anime. I would recommend it to anyone interested in yaoi.
This anime was perhaps one of the first ones added in my collection. Mochizuki, the main character, is presented an ideal by his boss in whom he admires greatly. Honma, Mochizuki's sauve employer, tells him that in order to make it in the business world, he would have to put aside his scruples and "climb" the ladder by sleeping with him. Of course this is sexual harassment! But, Mochizuki is quite obedient to Honma (and has come to like him, as far as admiration goes) and would do anything to get there. He's well aware of his place in the business world, and decides to step up. Complications arise when other businessmen decide to have a piece of Mochizuki, too! If you're into BDSM, then this title may be the thing for you. Graphic-wise (sex) it's very tame, but is quite suggestive, so everyone wins.
I first watched this at Ikkicon 3 at the Yaoi Panel. It's really predictable on who gets together but there are some very nice scenes in this anime - especially when the guy makes a move on the other while working on the computer. There is also some parts with bondage, so if you like that sort of thing, you'll enjoy this greatly since there's quite a lot. It's quite tame actually graphic wise and not to over exaggerate like some may think when seeing the word "bondage". However, if you don't like to see things being shoved up the anus (in the end), you'll probably wince or cringe. It's a funny part though.
In all, it's quite good yet I thought there would be more to it. The animation is so-so and the storyline is quite rushed. The smut parts however are wonderful for a fellow yaoi lover.
The smutness in this anime made it one of my all-time favorites. I absolutely loved it, and all you smut hoarders will too! Those of you who haven't watched this, you probably have heard of the infamous corncob scene, which is my favorite part. You just gotta see it ;)
If you like your consent highly dubious, as I do, you'll go mad for this one. Our vulnerable protagonist, Mochizuki, seems irresistible to all the predatory businessmen in his field. It begins with, "If you want to get ahead in this business you should be prepared for anything," and soon progresses to, "If you'll sleep with our client we'll get the contract," and not long after that his associates are pulling out the chloroform and the ropes and the blackmail video cameras. It's absurd. It's delicious. Don't ask it to make sense! The ending is just as messed-up as the rest, and that's part of what makes it so much fun.
