Tight Rope OVA1 has been subbed in English. Summary from ANN: Tightrope tells the tale of the reluctant heir of a yakuza family and his childhood friend, and follows their love relationship that started budding in their school days and keeps developing slowly but surely.

The AarinFantasy team members are quite fond of such BL anime, so I guess everyone's pretty pumped up for it! This particular OVA has been subbed by a new translator who is a friend I known from subbing community back in 2005, so I hoped you guys like it and please be kind to point out if there's any mistakes. The usual translator (Jane) was busy and she can only give a check on it... but she told me she will most probably get to translate OVA2 herself (so yay!).

Nice job there so thanks but I agree with @Kiraraneko - manga is still better And I think there's a tiny mistake somewhere in the beginning when Ryu's family is introduced. The 'Nee-san' in the beginning should be Ryu's mother not sister, right? I haven't watched this yet but will definitely watch it at some point since I liked the manga @yonie even though his mother is the wife of a yakuza Ryu wouldn't refer to her as his 'Nee-san' because although it's customary when a woman marries the head of a yakuza clan for them to be addressed as 'Nee-san' it is only ever by other members etc not by their children. If Ryu addressed his mother as his 'Nee-san' he would be saying that his mother is actually his sister but that can't be right because he's not her brother he's her son. report abuse vote down vote up Votes: +1
