Totally captivated my attention

This was the very first manga/ manhwa I ever read when I stumbled into the BL world, and—just as the title says—it totally captivated my attention.

Ewon is a poor college student who is forced to work for his ex-boyfriend’s new lover, Mookyul.

Mookyul has a strong dislike for Ewon, but as time goes by Mookyul begins to want Ewon and makes it clear how much, and in what way, he wants the resisting blond. However, Mookyul never pushes Ewon when the blond rejects him. Until something happens and Mookyul discovers Ewon his just his current lover’s cheating ex, hired on to be tormented.

You. Must. Read. This!

The main thing I loved about this manga/manhwa, is not only was there equal amounts of drama and comedy, but (IMO) they made Ewon the focus of lustful glances, even though Mookyul was the god walking amongst mere mortals (Mookyul isn’t a god in this story fyi ;p). It’s a great story and one you really will read over and over again.

totally amazing

I personally find korean mangas confusing most of the time but this one is different.. at least the character names are very easy to remember. Most yaoi shounen-ai manga revolve around sex sex but this one is light hearted and extremely fun to read. The drawings are kawaii and beautiful. This should be on your must read list.

Gripping story + gorgeous art = Total satisfaction

“Totally Captivated” was one of the first shonen-ai stories that made me overly-anxious to read it all from beginning to end right away. The story is exactly as the title says: difficult to put down, once you start reading it! This tale is so addicting because the characters feel so real, the humor is downright hilarious, and the connections between the cast are so believable. Never before has a yaoi made me so engrossed in the plot that I was glad that sex was not the entire point of the story. Ewon, the main character, is so adorable and fun that you want to jump into the manga just to give him a hug. Mookyul, the other main man, is a short-tempered and nasty man who makes Ewon work off a debt owed to him and treats him like dirt. Somehow, though, the odd and crazy relationship that blossoms between these two unlikely guys becomes something beautiful and interesting, as Ewon struggles to find his own self-worth and Mookyul is brought back into the human race by his adorable companion. I would recommend this manga to any yaoi lover, including new fans and old- it’s just that good.

I enjoyed this story from the first moment I picked it up and read the introduction. The artwork is spot on, the story reels you into Ewon's world of gangs, violence and the bossy Mookyul. It is one of those series that gets steamier as the story progresses. Definately one to keep a look out for.

The development of the characters is absolutely amazing! If you are a romance-junkie, this manga is a must-read. The artwork is very well-drawn and expressive, along with "captivating". Even I am "captivated" by this story. There is also a good dose of comedy in the right places.

This Manwha has the right amount of humour, romance, angst and violence for all your needs.
After reading a few chapters you will know why this series is particularly popular, Ewon's lost love and the stuborn-will-do-my-way Mookyul totally captivate you and welcome you to their own little Mob world.

I loved it so much after the first read that I bought it, well it's released to Vol. 4 already, the manhwa is beautifully drawn, and incredibly funny to read. Even the side characters are hilarious. I highly recommend it.

Totally Captivated definitely lives up to its name. It will captivate you, I promise. I wasn't very interested in reading it, at first, because the summary doesn't give much credit to this series.
After I read a few comments from people recommending it, I decided to give it a go. Oh boy, was I glad I did. I think I read every release up until this point in one sitting...
The story of innocent Ewon and mob-boss Mookyul will really drag you in. Read it! Read it now!

one of the best mangas i`ve evre reda. the art is brilliant and so is the story, the only bad thing is the fact that you have to wait for the chapters.
