The first time my friend mentioned this to me, she said something along the lines of, "A snake smexing up the uke and ruining my OTP." That instantly got my attention.

This contains bestiality. More specifically, a snake molesting people. Well...technically he's a snake god but he uses his snake form in some scenes. The god (whose name is never mentioned) has taken a liking to Seiya, the main character. Well, it seems as if all the other characters are in love/lust with him.

Seiya is the heir to the Haginokouji family and an all-around rich kid. His cousin lusts after him and so does Saiou, a priest who works for the family. Takakura is Seiya's personal nanny/driver/caretaker/assitant/one true seme. He's very protective of Seiya and is willing to do everything in his power to protect his young ward.

Of all the scenes involving the snake god (in human form, snake form, or possessing someone), the only one I enjoyed was when he was in snake form and molesting Saiou.

As far as I know, this is only going to be one volume.

This is not something for the weak-hearted. And I highly advise you not to watch this while eating because you might choke. I know I almost did. One of the first things you will see is the fat man taking advantage of a girly subordinate who...enjoys it. Hard to believe but everyone has their kinks.

For the most part, I actually enjoyed watching this. The story was simple and sweet and the development of the relationship between roommates Jonathan and Leonard was believable. Then you have the fat (VERY VERY FAT) Colonel Continental who abuses his power and takes advantage of his subordinates. People, his name is Continental for a reason. He is HUGE. He takes advantage of Jonathan which leads to his castration by Leonard who came to his roomate's rescue.

The BGM was alright though I thought it was a bit weird when Leonard and Jonathan were getting it on. And Jonathan's blush reminded me of Pikachu. It was...not condusive to the mood they were trying to set. Uncensored genitals ahead. Quite realistic compared to other yaoi animes. I think that's a good thing.

The ending was nice; very sad and angsty. Reminded me of Ai no Kusabi, actually. Though they didn't die together. The animation was great for something made during 1996. And I think it was geared for bara fans. Not exactly my type but it's a plus that they look like men unlike some girly-looking guys in yaoi.

I'd like to see more of this but alas, the company went bankrupt.

The manga is much better, in my opinion. But the anime was alright though a bit rushed. The art is nice but there are times when it doesn't come up to standards. Characterization was done perfectly and I love the interaction between the characters. I loved the bloody parts but I'm naturally a sadist so...yeah. Some people might not like them. The rape scene between Muraki and Hisoka was done tastefully though it was more explicit in the manga.

The first and seconds OVAs both show the dynamics of Subaru's and Seishirou's relationship. Whenever Subaru is in danger - and conveniently unconscious so he can't see - Seishirou becomes VERY protective and kills whoever has hurt his dear Subaru. Of course, there are loads of scenes where you can see Seishirou teasing Subaru with Hokuto's full support.

Though the art isn't that good, the story more than makes up for it.

Though there were confusing parts, overall, it was a very nice anime. There were a lot of plot twists balanced out by comic relief. All the characters were amusing and had their own quirks that made them endearing. Even though there were no explicit scenes, it's still a nice anime.

If you want to see a fun and sexy romp, this is the anime to watch. The sex scenes were very hot and explicit and I highly recommend watching the uncensored version because it's definitely a lot better in my opinion.

The first story was very sweet, especially the way Seiji and Sono made up after their fight. The second story however, is closer to my heart. Ueno is simply adorable and Aki is very sexy.

Even though both stories were very short, they managed to convey a plot and the characterization was pulled off quite nicely.

The Bronze continues from where Zetsuai left off. It's still full of angst and the desperate, unconditional love that Kouji has for Izumi. Here, you can see how much Kouji really loves Izumi and how Izumi is afraid of reciprocating that love. The most beautiful scene for me was when Kouji wrote "I love you" on Izumi's hand when he lost his voice.

The ending was quite open and give the viewer free reign to imagine what happens to them; though I'd like to think that they ended up happy.

A very cute anime full of fun and fights. The art is wonderful and it shows a lighter, happier side to Wild Adapter. Though you'd just LOVE to push Kubota and Tokito into a room, lock it, and not let them out.

Ai no Kusabi was one of my first yaoi animes. And so far, I have yet to watch another yaoi anime that can equal it in its beauty in my eyes.

AnK plays with the "forbidden love" scenario; the Master/Pet relationship, the opposite ends of the caste system. The rebellious Pet that wants to get away from a Master that would do anything to keep him. The plot is one that has been used before but what makes AnK different is the way that they pulled it off. The sci-fi futuristic setting is VERY original and lends a certain something to the entire Master/Pet dynamic.

The characterizations were wonderful; you can see things from the views of the different characters and you can sympathize with them. Even though I wanted to repeatedly stab Guy for what he did, I still felt a bit sorry for him because I could see where he was coming from. The relationships between the characters was also very interesting; the way they interacted with one another also added a certain depth to the anime. There was not a single dialogue in-between them that didn't serve a purpose. You're given insights and you get to see how they think.

I actually found the art very beautiful. I like it a lot more than some art in the more recent yaoi animes. It's very...stylized and I don't think the anime would work with any other art style. I love the detail, especially the eyes and hair. Not to mention how they draw the bodies and the characters as an entire being. I like my men to look like men; there are some yaoi animes where the ukes look like girls.

The ending was LOVE. In my opinion, it wouldn't have worked any other way. Their relationship was doomed from the beginning and I think it's wonderful how they pulled it off. The first time I watched it, I told myself I wouldn't cry. And it takes a lot to make me cry. But I broke down during Katze's scene; the raw emotion was just too much...

The sex scenes were hot and tastefully done. Though they didn't show the genitals, it was quite obvious what they were doing and it didn't retract from the hotness/sexyness. If they had shown the genitals, the feel would have been like you were watching a porn anime. In AnK, the sex scenes were hot without seeming like porn. Wait...that was confusing...anyway.

This anime is not for the weak-hearted or for those who desire happy endings. You will cry and I know some people who've felt like slashing themselves after watching this. It is drama and angst and pain and love and hate rolled into one masterpiece. If I could, I would give it a 100 out of 5.

The first time I tried to watch Boku no Pico, I couldn't get past the opening song. It was partly because of the video itself and partly because of the song itself. The video was full of fanservice scenes which was alright but I was a bit unused to the focusing on the butt of a little boy. The song is..."cutesy" and I'm not into that thing but if you like that kind of thing, then it's okay.

The art was nice except for some moments when Tamotsu didn't seem to be drawn as well as Pico. And the story is actually quite cute. But what really turned me off was the fact that they drew Pico in a way that made him seem like a girl. There were moments when he looked like he had breasts. And I'm sure that when a boy is aroused, his anus doesn't end up looking like it has labia. I had to pause the video and blink a few times before continuing.

All in all, Boku no Pico has good and bad points. It seemed as if the creators were afraid to turn it into a full-fledged shota anime. It could have been done a little bit better but if you can keep in mind that Pico is a boy, then you're all set.
