My sister survived seventy episodes and everyone raved about this anime. Of course, I had to check it out. I had to see what the rant and raving was about. Well-nothing much. I was about four episodes in before an irritation began to settle and I found myself yawning out of pure boredom. I held out further simply because my sister was watching it and I thought it would be more interesting to watch it with someone else. it was not. It had the makings of a rather typical anime with rather mundane characters. The main character was Yuri. Surprise, surprise. Yuri is a rather pathetic kid until he enters a different world. He ends up growing stronger in this world and he's actually the king of that kingdom-shocker! If you cannot hear the sarcasm seeping through my voice then I assure you it's there. There really is nothing more to this anime than a couple of bishonen boys thrown together in a mediocre plot. Perhaps, they thought the bishonen would save a rather trite and quixotic plot but it did not. The characters are irritating with the exception of a few and this story is as deep as a bath tub. It is one of those shows that I simply must drop my infamous line. "I have perhaps wasted three hours on this show that I will never get back."
