The issue: I had a contest running, which I closed too early in admin tools without intending to. When I tried to reopen, it would not let me. I clicked OPEN THREAD in admin and the small dot was glowing green, but there was nothing available to allow the changes to happen, such as SAVE or SUBMIT, etc. Clicking enter didnt work either. I had to request a Mod reopen..which worked perfectly. The contest remains unclosed at the admin level because now it wont let me close it The link to the contest thread is HERE if it is needed.

This may be apples and oranges, but I went to my request thread HERE to see what I could do with that..and it's the same. Again, apples and oranges perhaps, but I thought I should mention it.

I believe I am doing things correctly, but if I am not I do hope to learn how to do it correctly if anyone has the time.
